Njoki Karu is a singer-songwriter from Nairobi, Kenya, and a student at Berklee College of Music. She seeks to inspire others through her music, which is influenced not only by her African roots but by everything from her father’s old stash of blues cassettes to her love for alternative music. Her style is continuously morphing as she gains inspiration from the people around her.
